A body found in the frigid waters of the Hudson River by police divers was positively identified as that of missing celebrity designer Michele Savoia. The body was recovered at 1:30 pm Sunday off of Chelsea Piers around 20 feet from the yacht Savoia called home, according to police.

The bodies of two skiers who were missing after an avalanche Saturday evening have been found. Seven people were involved in an avalanche on Star Mountain near Independence Pass. The site is about eight miles west of Twin Lakes Village and southwest of Leadville.

Authorities have found a 250-foot-long unfinished smuggling tunnel underneath the U.S.-Mexico border that had electricity, water pumps and ventilation. Chief Border Patrol Agent Randy Hill says the tunnel is more sophisticated than other recently discovered tunnels, saying that those who were building it chiseled through solid rock and installed lighting and other equipment.
