Woman Charged With Robbing Two Dearborn Heights Banks Implying She Had Bomb.

Candace Glover-Carter, 35, allegedly got away with $4,000 on Jan. 14 after telling a bank teller at Comerica Bank, 4401 S. Telegraph Road, that she had a bomb.

She allegedly did the same about 10:16 a.m. Thursday at the Dearborn Federal Savings Bank, 4111 S. Telegraph Road. The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said she got away with $4,000 in that alleged robbery as well.

Glover-Carter was charged with two counts each of bank robbery and armed robbery, the prosecutor’s office said.

She was arraigned in 20th District Court before Judge David Turfe, who set her probable cause hearing date at 9 a.m. Feb. 3 before Judge Mark Plawecki.
