Wedding At 32,000 Feet : Couple Gets Married On Southwest Airlines Flight

A couple gets married at 32,000 feet. For the first time ever a wedding ceremony takes place on Southwest Airlines flight.

Coven and Stewart met two years ago. Their jobs take them across the country, so they decided to get married in the air. Stewart wrote a letter to Southwest, and the airline agreed to the wedding request.

“It’s nonstop love,” Stewart told WFAA. “That’s what it’s all about.”

The couple traded in their Rapid Rewards points to acquire 30 tickets for family and friends, according to WFAA. The flight also contained dozens of passengers who watched on, inadvertent wedding guests.
