Teen Mom Farrah Abraham has ended up in hospital following a lip injection procedure – which went horribly wrong.

But Teen Mom Farrah opted for implants instead of her routine injections – and it was the anaesthetic given to her before the procedure that gave her a shocking trout pout, TMZ reports.

Teen Mom Farrah, 23, apparently had an allergic reaction to the numbing injections, causing her lips to swell up.

“Girlfriends don’t say I didn’t warn ya ! #BOTCHED California #ER #fixit,” she wrote alongside the snap of her pout.

The brunette beauty shared an edited version of her swollen lips, comparing herself to Leela from cartoon Futurama.

“Gotta love my new look,” she joked.

Dr Esho – go to lip repair doctor – offered his informed opinion of what exactly went wrong.

He said: “Contrary to belief Farrah hasn’t had your common lip augmentation with lip filler injections, she has had a procedure known as “permalip” where a permanent implant is inserted into the patients lip.

“The theory is this will be more cost effective but as you can see the procedure also carries greater risk.

“Farrah clinically looks to have had an allergic reaction which could be secondary to the anaesthetic, prep solution or worse case scenario the implants themselves.

“If the latter she will have to have them removed and risks permanent scarring.”Farrah found fame on MTV’s Teen Mom after giving birth aged 16 to daughter Sophia Laurent.

She has become known for her love of surgery despite her latest mishap.
