SUV crashes into Florida home, killing couple and their unborn child.

Palmetto Police say SUV was driving northbound on US 41 at 7th Street West around 2:30 a.m. when it crossed the median and southbound lanes, crashed through a fence and barreled into the back of a residence at the Lone Oak Mobile Home Park.

The driver of the SUV, 35-year-old Christian Crawford of Bradenton, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Arrest records show Crawford has been arrested numerous times in Manatee County, most recently in August of last year on a charge of criminal registrant felony. No word on what charges, if any, he’ll face in relation to Wednesday’s crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
