Prince Harry made one little girl’s day when he attended to her at the Invictus Games closing concert last Sunday.
The redheaded royal hoisted 5-year-old Isabelle Nixon onto his shoulders when he found the daughter of a British disabled war veteran crying because the girl couldn’t see the Foo Fighters’ performance.
After learning the identity of her knight in shining armor, Isabelle started referring to herself as a “princess.”
Isabelle attended the ceremony with her parents Adam and Taryn Nixon and her three siblings, Jayden, Abigail, and Lilyana.
Her dad Adam, who lost his leg in an explosion while fighting in Iraq in 2004, served as the captain of Team Great Britain’s wheelchair basketball team during the games.
Taryn later took to Twitter to thank Harry for “an amazing end to an amazing week.”
