Nicolas Cage and Vince Neil have been caught on camera coming to blows, getting into a physical fight with each other in Las Vegas.
Video on celebrity website TMZ shows the 52-year-old Hollywood actor reportedly trying to calm Neil down after he allegedly assaulted a woman outside a Las Vegas resort.
Dressed in a smart blue suit, Cage is heard shouting “stop this” at Neil, before grappling him and using an arm lock on a pavement.
As the video ends, Cage is heard to whisper softly into Neil’s ear: “I love you”.
Thursday’s altercation happened after 55-year-old Neil allegedly assaulted a woman, who had approached the film star inside the Aria Hotel to ask for his autograph.
A Las Vegas police spokesman said Neil had come up to her from behind and grabbed her by the hair.
The 55-year-old rock star, known for a number of 1980s hit songs, including “Girls, Girls, Girls” and “Dr. Feelgood”, will appear in court on June 17 for the alleged assault.
Neil has a long history with the law.
In 2007, Neil was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Las Vegas after police spotted him making some erratic moves in his Ferrari. In2010, Neil was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Las Vegas again in 2010.
In 2011, Neil was charged with battery and disorderly conduct after an altercation with ex-girlfriend, Alicia Jacobs.
