Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa were involved in a car crash over the weekend.
The 41-year-old shared a photo of the aftermath, captioned, “A word of advice…..always wear your seatbelt when you @uber There is no such thing as a guaranteed safe ride. #datenight.”
He also tweeted a fan update following the incident:
No additional details regarding the accident have been disclosed.
This comes on the heels of an alleged bitter back-and-fourth with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson, who called the former boy band mate her “biggest financial mistake” — much to the dismay of 34-year-old Vanessa!
“Vanessa is steaming mad and out for revenge!” a source told Radar Online last month. “She gets really pissed when Jessica talks about Nick because it’s never complimentary, but this was a real low blow.”
“She can’t believe she’s still going on about that money! Vanessa and Nick live a very modest life compared to Jess,” they continued. “Vanessa’s sick of the public digs. She wants to have it out with Jessica and remind her she’d be nothing if it wasn’t for Nick.”
