Melissa Joan Hart Flaunts 40-Pound Weight Loss (Video)

As her Melissa & Joey co-star Joey Lawrence would say, Whoah! Melissa Joan Hart reveals her impressive 40-pound weight loss in behind the scenes look at her new commercial for weight loss program Nutrisytem.

“I felt prepared. I was confident,” she told ET of posing in a one-piece blue swimsuit. “I don’t wear bikinis even when I go to the beach, so when I put it on in front of the cameras and all these people, and my husband showed up — it’s nerve-wracking but the feeling is very satisfying.”

Joan Hart said she gained 60 pounds during her third pregnancy. She took her time shedding the weight.

“For me, it was important to bond with my child, as opposed to ‘lose the weight.’ So I waited until I was ready, and I knew I had the time, and then I made it a priority that I would eat well,” she said.

Now, the actress said she is happier than ever with her figure.

“I could live like this,” she said. “I love where I’m at and I feel amazing.”

She also gushed about how supportive her husband Mark has been.

“He is the guy who is disciplined,” she said. “His whole thing is stick to it, be healthy, be fit and he does it for me … I had three babies for him, but I also wanted to look fantastic into my 40’s.”

Will there be more babies for the former “Clarissa Explains It All” star?

“I thought so, but now we are exhausted,” she said. “Now I feel great, so I don’t know if I want to go back there!”
