Lost Luggage Found 20 Years Later Returned to Arizona Woman, We’ve all heard of nightmarish lost luggage tales, when bags go missing at the airport. Often times they turn up. But after 20 years what are the chances?
Dellos, who owns Maria’s Art Creations in Tuscon, Arizona, got a call from the TSA recently about some lost luggage. At first, she didn’t think too much about it. She did lose some items about four months ago, and figured that’s what they were calling about.
They had located some art supplies of Dellos’s that they’d misplaced two decades earlier – about $600 worth of stuff she’d bought at a trade show in Las Vegas. “This is product, art product, very valuable stuff,” Dellos tells Tuscon NBC affiliate KVOA.
“I understand that we just did some shuffling of equipment at the airport, so it’s quite possible that we came across something that somebody left unattended for a long period of time,” a TSA spokesperson said, in a bit of an understatement.
Dellos is being remarkably good-natured about things. “I’m absolutely thankful to the TSA for calling me today and giving me great faith back into the airline industry,” she said.
Even better, they found the luggage she lost four months ago, too!
