Jacob Dyck : Kingsville man faces charges after allegedly fleeing crash scene

A Kingsville motorist is facing numerous charges after he allegedly fled the scene of a collision with another vehicle on Saturday night.

The Ontario Provincial Police in Kingsville got a call about the crash on County Rd. 31 and Road 5 in Kingsville around 6:30pm Saturday. One vehicle rear-ended another and then sped off.

Police located the vehicle and the driver in question a short distance away. The driver showed obvious signs of impairment, so the officer arrested him.

In separate incidents, the OPP arrested a 28-year-old Essex man in Lakeshore after spotting a pickup truck being driven erratically on County Rd. 22 on March 18. Also on March 18, police arrested a 53-year-old Lakeshore woman after another motorist complained about a driver who appeared drunk on the same road.
