Caitlyn Kovacs : Rutgers Student Dies After Drinking At Frat House

Caitlyn Kovacs, a 19-year-old Rutgers University sophomore who died Sunday morning, was a great employee who loved animals, her former boss said.

Caitlyn P. Jovacs of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by friends around 3 a.m. and appeared to be in distress while attending a small party at the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity house at 78 College Ave. in New Brunswick.

Jovacs was pronounced dead at 3:19 a.m.

Initial investigations have shown that the death may be alcohol-related. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office.
