Blake Lively slams reporter for asking about her outfit (Watch)

Blake Lively has has a go at a red carpet reporter who asked about her outfit as she was making her way to Variety’s Power Of Women lunch in New York, firing back “would you ask a man that?”

The star attended Variety’s Power of Women luncheon yesterday, where a reporter dared to ask what her “power outfit” was. Needless to say, Lively wasn’t having it.

“Come on, you want me to talk about an outfit today?” she asked. “Come on. Would you ask a man that? No, you wouldn’t ask a man about power outfits. I’m sorry.”

Lively then deflected several questions about her Gossip Girl character, Serena van der Woodsen. In the past, Lively has made no secret of the fact that she’s “not proud” of the role.

“People loved (Gossip Girl), but it always felt a little personally compromising — you want to be putting a better message out there,” she told Allure last year.

When asked about ‘Serena’ again at the luncheon, Lively shut down the question by saying she preferred to “focus on the event.”

But don’t worry Gossip Girl fans – Lively did have some things to say about a possible reunion when asked by the luncheon’s hosting magazine, Variety.

“It sort of all depends,” she mused. “Would I do seven years of the show? No, because it’s hard work and I’ve got my babies, and I don’t want to be away from them that much. But I’ve just learned in life you never say never.

“I’m looking to do something that I haven’t done yet, not something that I did. But would I do that? Who knows — if it was good, if it made sense. We had so much fun shooting and living and working in New York City,” she added.
