Two people in Ville-Émard are dead in a possible murder-suicide.
The two bodies were initially discovered at separate locations in Ville-Émard early Saturday morning.
A woman in her 50s was found dead inside an apartment on Briand St., near Jolicoeur St.
Police say she was killed by her partner, a man in his 40s. His body was found the same day in a public area near the Lachine Canal, where it is believed he committed suicide.
The two were recently separated, according to SPVM spokesperson Manuel Couture.
This is the city’s 10th homicide of the year.
