Toronto police have released security camera images of a woman who allegedly posed as a nurse and stole cash from a retirement home resident Monday, Nov. 2.

On Monday November 2, just before 2:00 p.m., a woman dressed in scrubs walked into a retirement residence in the Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West area.

It’s alleged a 91 year old resident returned to her apartment to find the woman inside, and that she made off with over $1,000 in cash.

She’s been described as being in her 30s, thin, with shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing hot-pink scrubs, a white baseball cap, white shoes and a royal blue lanyard with a white name tag.

Police believe there may be other victims.

Security camera images have been released and police ask anyone with information about the case to call 416-808-5300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
