A 20-year old man was given a ticket and had his vehicle taken away after he was clocked driving almost 200 km/h on Valley Road Tuesday evening.
An officer spotted a 2012 Ford Mustang speeding on Valley Road around 8 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted and the officer issued the driver a $795 ticket for travelling 197 km/h in a 90 km/h zone.
Speed limits are strictly enforced, Saskatoon police reminded motorists in a media release Wednesday. Limits are in place to ensure the safety of all those who use the roadways.
