The Sûreté du Québec is investigating the police shooting of a 17-year-old boy in St-Constant Sunday.
It happened at around 1 o’clock Sunday morning in a home on l’Amaryllis Street.
The Surete du Quebec was called in to handle the investigation.
Police say the boy had stabbed a family member before using a knife to confront police officers from the Regie intermunicipale de police Rousillon.
An officer shot the boy who died in hospital.
The man in the home who was stabbed, remains in critical condition.
