Elderly man’s death deemed a homicide, Police

A 72-year-old man who was found bleeding from the head last week in Etobicoke has died from his injuries and police say his death was a homicide.

Police responded to a call March 18 around 3 p.m. for a man found semi-conscious and bleeding from the head at the Marina Del Rey condominium at 2267 Lake Shore Blvd. W.

The man was transported to hospital where he died on Monday.

Police identified the man as Khee Hien Liem, of Toronto.

Police released no details about suspects or a possible motive.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call them at 416-808-7400, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
