A TTC bus driver is being investigated after a video posted on YouTube on Saturday appeared to use the driver using a phone on the job Thursday afternoon.
The driver, wearing a shirt with a TTC logo, can be seen operating the moving bus while holding and using a cellphone with their right hand.
“[I] wasn’t really paying attention until when I was getting off, I realized the driver was driving and texting,” said the person who took the video.
The video comes days after the OPP conducted a highly publicized Labour Day long weekend distracted driving blitz when officers laid almost 800 charges for inattentive driving.
