Taylor Hill Remembers High School: “I Didn’t Exist in High School”.

The 5’9″ beauty, who was named a Victoria’s Secret Angel earlier this year, admitted that when she was a student, she was the “butt of everyone’s jokes” and known as “tall, skinny Taylor”.

She signed with talent agency IMG when she was 14 years old and dropped out of her Colorado school to pursue a career in modelling.

The 19-year-old, who received her diploma when she was 16, said she has no regrets about dropping out of school because her classmates would make fun of her or ignore her.

“Boys didn’t like me then, and now they’re all like, “Hey, I went to school with you,'” she told Cosmopolitan.com.

“Last time I checked, nobody remembers that I went to that school. People were shocked when they found out I went there. I didn’t exist back in the day.”

That feeling of isolation and not fitting in is what pushed Taylor to launch her career early.

“I was ready. I was like, “Put me in the world — I don’t care. I’m a nerd. They don’t like me there,”‘ she said.

Taylor Hill says she’s now part of a “sisterhood” with her fellow Victoria’s Secret models and is thankful to be in a “loving, kind, caring, and fun environment”.

She also counts Selena Gomez as a good friend after bonding with her backstage at the Victoria’s Secret show.

“[Selena] is such a sweetheart and I think that was the most important thing to me,” Taylor said when speaking to W Magazine.

“You know, you meet famous people sometimes and they’re not who you think they are, like in the movies or on TV, but she is who she is and she’s also gentle and kind and I love that.”
