Sasha Sabapathy live-tweets ‘Ebola scare’ on Las Vegas flight

A British passenger on board a flight in the United States from New York to Las Vegas has live-tweeted an Ebola scare.

Sasha Sabapathy, a social media manager, was on a flight when two people on board who had recently travelled in Africa fell ill.

As soon as the plane that was flying from between New York’s JFK to Las Vegas, touched down, emergency services quarantined the plane and its passengers over fears the pair may have the deadly Ebola virus.

However, once it became clear the passengers had not contracted Ebola, Sasha decided to make light of the situation by live tweeting from on board the plane.

Here are some more of her tweets:

“Seriously @Delta if there is Ebola on this plane I want to get off. I still have a weekend in Vegas to live through.”

“Ok so @Delta just told us the sick person just came from Africa. This is def an Ebola scare. No one will say Ebola tho it’s like Voldermort”

“Now it’s two people from Africa who have fevers. No one knows if they have Ebola and we have to stay on this infected plane. Cheers @Delta”

“Some of us passengers would like free alcohol to numb this experience please @Delta”

“Soooo these peeps might not have Ebola they say but we still have to stay on this plane. I am being force quarantined.”

“Making a shirt: I went to Vegas for the 1st time and all I got was a lousy Ebola quarantine.”
