Sarah Palin Family Brawl Detailed in Police Reports

Police have released a detailed report describing the drunken family brawl that involved the son, daughter and husband of Sarah Palin, the controversial former Governor of Alaska.

According to the document, Palin’s husband Todd and her two children, Track and Bristol, were involved in a physical fight at a birthday party on 6 September.

The family was traveling in a white limousine, and had been celebrating the birthday of Sarah’s husband Todd earlier in the evening in Wasilla before making the way to their friend’s house in Anchorage for another party, where the violence broke out.

According to the Associated Press, Palin’s daughter Bristol allegedly “punched the host several times in the face” when a brawl broke out that involved several other members of their family.

According to the police report, the officers arrived to find Sarah Palin’s son Track “heavily intoxicated” and “belligerent,” with “blood around his mouth and on his hands” and an eye injury. The fighting apparently began when Track defended his sisters against “some guys [who] were talking rudely to his sisters, making them cry.”

The party’s host, Korey Klingenmeyer, disputed the Palin version of the story, saying he was not happy the family was at his house and blamed them for “causing the problems.” When he told Bristol to leave, she hit him multiple times before grabbing her fist and pushing her back, at which point she fell down.

“At that time he said several guys from the party stepped in to help him and a fight broke out and the Palins ended up losing,” the officer reported.

The family has not commented publicly on the incident, beyond a Facebook post last month in which Sarah Palin defended her daughter Bristol.
