Oreo the cat was found safe and returned to his home at the historic Armstrong Hotel in Fort Collins Tuesday night. The hotel staff made the announcement on the once-missing cat’s Facebook page.

Two Armstrong Hotel guests found Oreo crying out from behind an art museum about a block away from the hotel.

Hotel general manager Nick Gliszinski says Oreo’s return marks the end of a citywide search for the famed feline, but authorities are still trying to find the perpetrators.

Videos showed two men catnapping Oreo from the hotel lobby during Saint Patrick’s Day festivities on Saturday.

Oreo first came to the hotel in 2004. Since then, she has warmed her way into the hearts of hotel guests and owners. There are even cat doors throughout the building for her to use throughout the day before she gets put in the executive offices for the evening.
