The singer and model has been a permanent member of the judging panel on the singing show since 2012 but, according to reports, is expected to leave to return to her music career.
Gary Barlow has already announced he is leaving, with former judge Cheryl Cole widely expected to return.
However, she will not be returning for the upcoming 11th series, according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
A source tells the publication, “It breaks her heart, but Nicole is sad not to be able to go back to the show this year. She has agonised over this decision for months.
“She has put her music career on hold last year but now she has to focus on her music.”
Music mogul Simon Cowell will be returning for this year’s series (13) and he is rumored to be in talks with former judge Cheryl Cole to take a place on the panel with him.
Scherzinger reportedly signed a multi-million dollar record deal last year (12) to return to the charts following her 2011 debut solo album Killer Love.
