Nicholas Brendon has separated from wife Moonda Tee just five months of their marriage.
A representative for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor confirmed the news on Brendon’s Facebook page on Friday (February 13).
The statement read: “I am officially announcing that Nicholas and his wife, Moonda Tee, have parted ways.
“Nicholas expressed that Moonda is truly a ‘beautiful person’ and that he ‘wishes her the best that life has to offer’.”
It continued: “We know that there will be rumours and gossip, but we ask that Nick’s privacy be respected during this difficult time. Things like this are never easy.
“As always, thank you for your support and your love of all things Nick.”
Brendon announced his marriage to Tee in October 2014, posting an image on Twitter of the pair in Las Vegas celebrating the occasion.
Shortly after the wedding, the star was arrested for ‘malicious injury to a property’.
