Infiniti showcases the updated Q60, QX30 and Q50 for the first in Europe at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

With the European premieres of two daring new models and one significantly updated vehicle, Infiniti has established a comprehensive and highly attractive offer for customers in Europe and around the world, forming an excellent basis for further growth globally.

All three European debuts share Infiniti’s iconic design language, innovative technologies and precise driving characteristics. They deliver on the company’s promise to expand its portfolio, once again showing its concept to reality covenant. All-new is the Q60 Red Sport coupe, promising a powerful drive from a highly-advanced new V6 engine, and the QX30 premium active crossover, with its elevated stance, concept-like exterior, and asymmetric cabin design.

They are joined by the refreshed Q50 sports saloon, which features significant performance and dynamic upgrades that deliver a more empowering and rewarding drive experience.

Roland Krueger, President of Infiniti Motor Company, commented: “2015 was a successful year for Infiniti, as we transformed our product line-up and established a sales record for the brand around the world. The three new cars, which make their European debuts here in Geneva, highlight our ongoing commitment to developing and expanding Infiniti’s product portfolio.”

The launch of these new and upgraded models in Europe comes at a time of rapid growth for Infiniti. The company sold a record 215,250 new vehicles in 2015, representing a year-on-year rise of 16%.

All-new Q60 sports coupe: designed and engineered to perform

Infiniti continues to build on its reputation in the global sports coupe segment as the new Q60 makes its European premiere in Geneva. The car will go on sale in Europe in the second half of 2016.

The Q60 features a striking interpretation of Infiniti’s ‘Powerful Elegance’ design language muscular lines and distinctive proportions. At the heart of the car is an all-new lightweight and sophisticated ‘VR30’ 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine.

The Q60 Red Sport shown in Geneva features the high-powered 400 hp V6 engine, which provides the car with one of the best power-to-efficiency ratings in the sports coupe class.

The Q60 is also available with the company’s second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering – comprehensively modified from the ground-breaking first-generation system – and Infiniti’s new Dynamic Digital Suspension, which gives the sports coupe an optimal blend of ride comfort and class-leading response and agility.

All-new QX30: a premium active crossover for all environments

The second all-new Infiniti model making its European debut is the QX30, joining the recently released Q30 as part of the brand’s new premium compact line-up.

With a purposeful, elevated crossover appearance and signature Infiniti design cues, the QX30 makes a bold visual statement. It remains true to the ‘Powerful Elegance’ design approach that guided the original QX30 concept shown at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show.

The all-new QX30 will be introduced to selected markets in the middle of 2016.

2016 Q50: a premium sports saloon delivering an empowering drive

Driving the recent success of Infiniti’s premium model line-up is the Q50, updated comprehensively for 2016 and revealed to European audiences for the first time at the 86th Geneva International Motor Show. The Q50 sports saloon has played a critical role in the brand’s sustained global growth.

As well as the powerful all-new V6 engine found in the Q60 sports coupe, making its debut in the Q50 is the company’s second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering and Infiniti’s new Dynamic Digital Suspension.
