The couple, who started dating in 2011, held a commitment ceremony in New York to prove their love and dedication for each other. The event was hosted at Joan Tratorria, a restaurant in New York owned by the singer’s parents, according to The Daily Mail.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: ”Gaga wanted something visual, a commitment ceremony with the people who matter the most. They don’t have time to plan a wedding, so they decided they would have a small gathering to show the people they love most how committed they are to one another.
“It was just for her family and a few close art and designer friends. Taylor’s mum Pam was there too. She flew in with one of his brothers.”
The ceremony came shortly after 32-year-old Sophia Bush – who appeared alongside Taylor in TV drama show Chicago Fire – sparked rumours they were set to officially tie the knot by calling the actor’s new item of jewellery a ”personal ring”.
However, the insider explained: ”The ring is just a sign of his commitment to Gaga. ”They will get married properly next year, when they have time to plan a wedding.”
