Kristen Stewart: Actress opens up about her sexuality in Nylon magazine

Kristen Stewart has addressed months of speculation about her sexuality following reports that she was in a relationship with another woman.

Kristen split from Robert Pattinson back in 2012, after she was papped looking cosy with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. She told People at the time: “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob.”

Since then, Kristen has kept her love life low key. But after Kristen and Alicia were pictured holding hands and cuddling up in Hawaii, they’ve been seen together constantly, sparking speculation that they were a couple.

Now, Kristen has spoken out about her sexuality, all-but confirming the relationship and essentially reminding everyone that it’s actually none of their business who she is dating. When NYLON asked her whether she had “any big pronouncements about her sexuality?” she replied: “Google me, I’m not hiding.”

She then went on to point out that perhaps it isn’t always as easy as “coming out” as one particular thing – sexuality and relationships aren’t always that clear cut, after all.

“If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it. But I am an actress, man. I live in the fucking ambiguity of this life and I love it.

“I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving… I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies.”

“I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing.”
