Kid Rock is “beyond devastated” after finding his personal assistant’s body on his property. According to reports, 30-year-old Michael Sacha was killed in an apparent ATV accident early Monday (April 25).
Metro Nashville Police Department said the accident happened when Mr Sacha drove two people down the driveway in an ATV (all terrain vehicle or quad bike) to meet an Uber driver at midnight.
He crashed on his way back to the house.
Nashville Fire Department spokesman Brian Haas told The Tennessean that Mr Sacha was dead by the time the department arrived.
Rock posted a statement on his official website where he said Mr Sacha was “one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with”.
“I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I cannot imagine how they must feel.
“Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss.
“We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family.”
The police department tweeted that Mr Sacha’s death has been classified as accidental.
Rock has asked fans and the media to respect his and Mr Sacha’s family’s privacy.
