Kate Gosselin is NOT engaged. In fact, she’s says not even dating, despite reports linking her to businessman Jeff Prescott. The reality star took to Twitter on Monday to set the record straight about the rumors.
Following an autograph signing at TLC’s Block Party on Saturday (May 30), the “Kate Plus 8” star sparked rumors that she’s engaged thanks to a sparkly ring on her left hand. However, Kate Gosselin says that wedding bells aren’t in her future.
“Fyi: I’m not engaged — not even dating [anyone],” the mom of eight tweeted on Monday (June 1) morning. “Loved the ring so I put it on myself 4 by bday — had 2 have something [about] that # to make me smile #40.”
The most interesting part about her tweet is not that she’s not getting hitched but that she claims she’s not even seeing anyone. For the past year or so, the reality star has been linked to millionaire Jeff Prescott, which means it wouldn’t be that surprising if it was revealed he had proposed.
For now, fans will just have to take Gosselin’s word while they secretly wonder about the truth behind that shiny, new ring.
