Judge Len Goodman Leaving Dancing With the Stars After 20 Seasons

Judge Len Goodman May Be Leaving ‘Dancing With The Stars’, But The Season 21 Pro Cast Is Still Amazing.

As was reported by Glamour, Goodman, 71, has officially left the judges table. Executive producer Rob Wade confirmed his departure, chalking it up to scheduling conflicts. In a brief statement released to the publication, Wade said that between judging “Strictly Come Dancing UK” and his new role as a grandfather, Goodman simply couldn’t make “DWTS” work. He assured fans that there was no bad blood and Goodman may still be involved in Season 21 “at some capacity.” Wade confirmed that Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough, who recently got engaged, will continue their roles as judges on the show.

Also returning to Season 21 will be professional dancer Karina Smirnoff. The 37-year-old sat out Season 20, but confirmed on Instagram earlier this week that she will be back in the ballroom once again. Val Chmerkovskiy, who won Season 20 alongside partner Rumer Willis, also recently announced his return to the dancing competition series.

The “DWTS” Season 21 cast will be announced on “Good Morning America” Wednesday, Sept. 2. The show will premiere a few weeks later on Monday, Sept. 14 on ABC.
