Jessie J wears high-waisted shorts and pants to hide a misspelled tattoo, she has revealed.
Popstar Jessie recalls a secret tattoo blunder on The Graham Norton Show, which will air on BBC One tonight.
The 26-year-old told her embarrassing tale while visiting The Graham Norton Show, explaining: “I did it ages ago and had ‘Don’t lose who you are in the blur of the star!’ tattooed on my side.
“Not long after I had it done my mum said to me in tears, ‘I don’t know how to tell you this but it is spelt wrong.’
“I have ‘Don’t loose who you are in the blur of the stars!’ It’s really big, which is awful.”
The misspelled tattoo extends from her side down past her hip – but if you haven’t seen it before, there’s a reason for it.
The Price Tag singer added: “It’s the reason I always wear high waisted stuff. I’m not going to put a spelling mistake that close to a camera.
“I’m going to get it covered and I’m not having any more tattoos.”
Jessie showed off the vast inking while posing for a New Year’s bikini pic, which she shared to Instagram.
The London-born star has a collection of smaller tatts, including a heart behind her ear formed from a treble and bass clef and the phrase “Stand Up” on her wrist.
