So how does the mother of two stay in shape? She gets through workouts by taking classes so that other people can keep her accountable.
Jessica Alba told Shape magazine training for Dark Angel in the early 2000s really “set the bar” for her fitness regimen. “But I’m not going to lie. Working out sucks,” she said.
“I attribute my athletic body to the martial arts, gymnastics, dance, and strength training I did while filming” the show, she explained.
She went on to spill her workout secrets, which includes power yoga, spin or anything that makes her “break a sweat.”
Alba, who shares daughters Honor, 7, and Haven, 3 with husband Cash Warren, says her kids have helped her self esteem when it comes to her body image.
“I wasn’t truly confident about my body until I had my daughters,” she admitted. “I felt more comfortable in my own skin after they were born. Plus, if I want them to be happy with their bodies, I need to walk the walk.”
