American Idol alum Colton Dixon marries his ‘best friend last night’.
The pair got engaged in September while on holiday in Disneyland.
Speaking to People, the singer said he was blown away by how lovely the make-up artist looked on their big day.
“She was glowing and it was unbelievable how beautiful she was,” he said.
“I absolutely lost it. Audible tears. And I’m not a good-looking crier either!”
Colton later told his fans about his wedding, writing on Twitter: “Married my best friend last night. I love you @anniecog What a great night with family and friends!”
His sister Schyler Dixon, who also appeared on American Idol, was also on hand to share a number of snaps from the wedding.
She posted one showing Annie’s incredible strapless dress with ruffled skirt. “Beautiful bride #coltannwedding” she wrote.
A big congratulations to the newlyweds.
