Ian Young : Man who did not return to CAMH may pose public safety risk

Ian Young, 49, who is in violation of an Ontario Review Board Disposition Order, was supposed to return to CAMH yesterday, but failed to do so.

Police say he is wanted for “non-compliance with an Ontario Review Board Disposition Order.”

Young was last seen on Monday near CAMH and was supposed to be back on Wednesday.

Police are concerned for the public’s safety since they say he may pose a serious public safety risk.

Young is described as white, six-feet one-inch tall, 240 pounds with a muscular build, dark-brown hair, a pale complexion and brown eyes.

“Police are concerned for the safety of the public,” said a statement released on Thursday night. “If he is located, do not approach him, call 911.”

    1. If this is supposed to be a news item, the writer is no journalist! Who is Ian Young? Does he have a criminal history? Why is he a possible danger to the public? What is CAMH? I am a member of the public and I want to know why I’m in danger and from what.
