The girls set up a Girl Scout cookie drive-thru. People looking to get a sweet fix could drive up, select their favorite cookie flavor and drive away satisfied.

Troop leaders said the cookie program not only provides customers with delicious cookies, it also teaches girls about money management, business ethics and people skills.

Troop 12115 in Salem has the goal of selling 5,000 boxes of cookies. So far, the Scouts have sold over 1,200 boxes.
