Girl Dies After Bouncy Castle Blows Away At Fair “Video”

A seven-year-old girl is dead and two people have been arrested after a bouncy castle was blown away by a strong gust of wind in Britain on Saturday.

Summer Grant was playing in the bounce house at a family-friendly Easter event at Harlow Town Park in Essex when the wind suddenly picked up, Fox News reported.

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence.

The pair, from Cambridgeshire, were thought to be working for the company that runs the dome-shaped attraction.

Ambulance crews were called to Harlow Town Park in Essex shortly after 4pm on Saturday following the tragedy at a fun fair.

The little girl, from Norwich, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital where she later died.

Her mother, Cara Blackie, has now paid tribute to the youngster, and described her pain at her daughter’s death.

She said: ‘Summer was a bright beautiful and most loving girl, it is so unfair that you have been taken, it just doesn’t make sense. I’m truly heartbroken.’

In a statement, her father, Lee Grant, said: ‘I never thought our beautiful angel would be taken away from us or that we would outlive her. She was the most happy, polite and beautiful girl in the world.

‘I still can’t come to terms she’s not here. We all love you so so much, you will always be with us; love you to the moon and back, all our love Daddy, Mummy and family.’

A online appeal to help the family deal with their daughter’s death has since raised more than £2,500 – and included tributes from Summer’s family.
