George Clooney Explains Why He Fell in Love with Amal Alamuddin.

The couple are rarely pictured without one another these days and when George was quizzed on his other half during a recent interview, he couldn’t resist gushing over the gorgeous brunette.

“She’s an amazing human being and she’s caring,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

“And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. And she’s got a great sense of humor.”

He then added: “There’s a number of reasons why [I fell in love].”

Lawyer Amal has previously represented WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and is now representing Armenia in the country’s case against the leader of the Turkish Workers’ Party.

George went on to say how proud he was of her and loves to see her all dolled up in her work outfit.

“I’m always very proud of her when I see her speaking at the International Court of Appeals in Strasbourg [France], you know, with her robe on.

“It’s very impressive,” he added.

The actor, who married Amal on September 27 in Venice, Italy, also brought up his wife’s amazing sense of style.

“Since the day I met her — she’s always had this insanely … it’s eccentric but it’s fun, sense of fashion,” he said.

“How she does it while she’s got 11 cases she’s working on? … It’s crazy. It has been sort of fascinating to watch, because she has such great taste.”

George and Amal have been in NYC throughout the year, with the actor filming his new movie Money Monster since the end of February.

The Hollywood hunk’s latest role sees him play a TV financial personality who is taken hostage by Jack O’Connell’s character, who has lost his life savings after taking his money advice.
