The Canadian Toy Association released its hot toys for the holiday’s list Tuesday and there is a changing trend to traditional items. A handful of lucky kids in Toronto were able to test over 70 varieties of this year’s big-ticket items.
“Crunchy Munchy”, Zoomer Dino, and Furreal Friends were some of the toys the Canadian Toy Association let a lucky group of kids play with.
More than 70 toys made the list this year, and the Chair of the Canadian Toy Association Kerry George says the best way to know which toy to pick, is to know your child.
“Buy them something that’s age appropriate, and buy them something they’re interested in. If they’re interested in arts and crafts, get them something in that product line.”
The toys played with at the Science Centre on Monday will be donated to “Toys for the North”, which is an organization that sends toys to kids in remote communities in Northern Canada.
