Christina aguilera judge on “the voice” : weight loss 2013

Beautiful singer Christina Aguilera showed off her slim figure at The Voice Season 5 Top 12 event at Universal Studios in Hollywood last night.

Christina looked radiant with her trademark platinum locks and red lipstick, which she teamed with an embellished Isabel Marant top.

She finished off the look with some simple black McGuire skinnies and a pair of platform peep toe heels.

According to the star, she lost weight by training regularly with Tee Sorge, doing yoga and healthy eating.

In a recent interview held in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 7, the National Ledger quoted “The Voice” singer revealing what finally brought the weight loss she has been hoping for.

”It’s a lot of stagnant energy sitting in a chair for three years in a row. I got to have, finally, a break and spend some time with my son,” Aguilera began, according to the National Ledger, as she recalls how it was like for her in those three years as “The Voice” judge.

The opportunity however, has given her the chance not only to spend quality time with her family, it has also given her a chance to see herself at a whole new level.

Aguilera continued, “… being able to breathe and have time away outside of the camera and get to the nitty-gritty of all things real and personal [allowed me to come] back refreshed.”

But what really helped the singer reach her weight goal? Christina revealed two things:
1. Ban of dairy and carbs
One of the first things Aguilera did was to ban dairy and carbs products.

2. High-energy training
The “Stripped” singer also included in her weight loss regime, some high-energy training.

A source said, according to the National Ledger, ”Her diet plans has been built around very small portions and very high-energy training for short periods of time, but frequently.’

3. Controlled list of food

The singer also took pains in resorting to some controlled food to achieve her goald.

”Banned are dairy and carbs. On the agenda is a lot of coconut water, herbal teas, tofu, celery, oily fish and small amounts of low fat cheese,” noted a source as quoted by National Ledger.

4. Small meals

Banned dairy products, controlled list of food and high energy training would not have been enough if it were not for her discipline to eat small meals.

”But the major key to this is only hand size portions of every meal and five small meals a day,” the source added, said National Ledger.

Christina Aguilera debuted her stunning new looks at the season finale of “The Voice” early this year, giving hints not only of her return but how excited she is to be doing what she loves to do, in good shape.
