On Wednesday, officials with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed there had been no obvious sign of forced entry in the six-bedroom home that sits on nearly an acre of land.
“The preliminary investigation shows no signs of forced entry,” said Lt. Jeff Hallock.

A real estate broker says the three-story home of nearly 9,000 square feet that is worth an estimated $3.7 million and is built like “a fortress.”

Investigators are examining the business dealings and lawsuits dating back to the 1990s involving 57-year-old Bradford Hans Sachs and 54-year-old Andra Resa Sachs, a long-divorced couple with five children who had lived and conducted business together.

Deputies found the couple shot dead Sunday after someone called 911 from the home.

Their 8-year-old son was seriously injured but is expected to survive.
