Ariana Grande’s not so secret talent is impersonating other pop stars with startling accuracy. Jimmy Fallon was the first to uncover her canny ability, and now SNL is taking advantage.
In a skit skewering Tidal’s many snafus, meek intern Chloe, played by Grande, is called upon to save the streaming network by impersonating everyone from Britney Spears, to Shakira, to Rihanna, to Whitney Houston, and finally Celine Dion.
On top of that, Grande did a spot-on impersonation of Jennifer Lawrence in “Family Feud”. She was introduced as someone who “talks like a man, but pH balanced for a woman.” Wearing a cleavage-baring white dress and rocking shoulder-length blonde hair, she said in her best JLaw voice, “They told me not to do a game show but I was like screw it, I can have fun, I’m a regular person.”
