Yellow lobster: Fisherman’s incredibly rare catch

It’s said one in 30 million is the chance you have of finding a rare yellow lobster. Well, one fisherman in Connecticut has beaten the odds.

He found it along the coast of Black Point in Niantic, an area he has frequented for fishing in the last 10 years.

These are very unusual to catch. He pulled it out of the water and saw it in the back of his trap. At first he thought it might cooked or plastic. It was hiding in the back and he was unsure that he really caught a yellow lobster.
The color that it was made it look like it was already cooked. It is a female lobster and she is in great shape doing just fine. It doesn’t look like she will be cooked anytime soon.

The yellow lobster is very unusual. They have seen blue lobsters and split colored before. There are also a few albino lobsters out there. You can eat the yellow lobsters, but that is not what will happen with this rare lobster. Instead they are going to put it somewhere to be viewed or she will be set free eventually.
