Frozen 2 Confirmed : The sequel is happening, says Idina Menzel

Idina Menzel has just confirmed that “Frozen 2”, the sequel to one of Disney’s highly successful film, is in the works!

In an interview with the Telegraph, Idina was asked about ‘Frozen Fever’ — an animated short that has been planned for a Spring 2015 release – as well as rumors about an upcoming full-length sequel and a Broadway musical adaptation of the film.

“They’re all in the works, ha ha!” the actress, best known for her Broadway career prior to voicing Elsa in ‘Frozen,’ responded.

Although she didn’t give much more of a scoop than that, she did reveal that she’d like to be involved with the alleged ‘Frozen 2.’ “Not the stage show,” she clarified. “I don’t know what will happen with that — but the movie hopefully. We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride.”

Of course, this is all still just in the speculation stage. Based on these quotes, she implied that ‘Frozen 2′ is possibly happening, but until Disney issues an official announcement, we’ll just have to be satisfied with singing along to ‘Let It Go’ on repeat.
