Shooting in Surrey sends two people to hospital

At least two people were taken to hospital after an overnight shooting in Surrey.

The RCMP was called to a reported shooting on Iona Place near 123A Street just after midnight.

When crews arrived they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
One man has non-life threatening injuries, while the condition of the other man is not known.

Monica Nalula was inside her home with her husband and children when shots rang out.

“We heard a loud scream of a man you know screaming in agony,” said Nalula. “You hear something like that, of course it’s scary, it’s very scary.”

Police are still searching for suspects.
