One young man has been arrested in connection with the devastating fires in Owen Sound .
Police In Owen Sound have arrested a 17 year old boy from Chatsworth and charged him with 16 counts of arson endangering life and 5 counts of arson.
It comes after a series of fires sent 10 people to hospital when flames broke out at 6 different homes in the area early Monday including a 10 unit townhouse complex.
The 17-year-old is expected to attend a bail hearing today .
Most of the people treated in hospital were for symptoms of smoke inhalation. The fires left 23 families homeless.
