Nigel White: Man arrested following ‘random’ College Park assaults

A man has been arrested for a series of “random” assaults near Yonge and College, Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Nigel White, 38, faces charges for three separate attacks on Nov. 5.

Police report a 50-year-old man was attacked while standing on the sidewalk near Yonge and College. He was knocked to the ground and suffered a broken hip and a broken wrist.

The suspect then continued on, allegedly pushing a 70-year-old woman, before finally punching a 54-year-old woman in the face, knocking her to the ground

The second woman suffered a broken hip and a bruise to the face.

Nigel White has been arrested and will be in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday morning. He’s been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault.
