Niagara Regional Police cancel Amber Alert : Girls, aged 5 and 3, found safe

An Amber Alert issued Saturday morning by police in Niagara Region has been cancelled.

An officer found the sought-after vehicle at a motel, according to a statement issued by the Niagara Regional Police Service.

The girls were reunited with their father after being abducted from their grandmother’s house on Friday evening.

Police issued the Amber Alert early Saturday morning and the Amber Alert was cancelled around 7:45 a.m.

The girls’ mother Julia Martinovs is in police custody.
