Man arrested with pellet gun in Yorkville hotel : Police

Toronto Police have arrested one man after reports that an individual was spotted carrying a gun at a Yorkville hotel early Saturday.

Officers got a call around 6 a.m. Saturday about the incident at the hotel on Yorkville Avenue, near Avenue Road and Bloor Street West.

The Emergency Task Force moved into the hotel and evacuated the units surrounding the suspect’s room. They then arrested the man and seized a pellet gun.

No one was injured, and the hotel is back to operating as usual.
