Layla Sabry: Niagara police cancel Amber alert

Niagara Regional Police are continuing their search for nine-year-old Layla Sabry, however they have cancelled the Amber Alert.

Police say Layla Sabry and her mother Allana Haist were last seen Thursday at 6 p.m. in Welland, Ontario

They say they’re continuing to treat the case as a missing person investigation, but enough time has elapsed that they’ve ended the Amber Alert.

Layla is described as white, four-foot two, with light brown hair and brown eyes. She is also known as Layla Haist or Arya Dillion.

Her mother, who police say also goes by the aliases of Kate Dillon or Lana Marie, is white, five-foot one, with medium length brown hair and brown eyes.

No vehicle description is available.
